Madonna, mysteries and mayan ruins

Well, I finally saw Madonna in concert.  She did everything perfectly, but for some reason things were just not what I expected.  I guess when you dance to all the songs, watch all the the DVD’s and imagine how fun it would be to hang out, watching from the floor is somehow disappointing.

I am not sure what was wrong with me,  I just know that I was almost in tears watching the show.  There is something a bit weird about having the illusion finally appear in front of your eyes.  Maybe it is a lesson for me not to build anything up to great expectations, but that is hard for me to do!  I love living life making a big deal out of everything.  I don’t like for one day to roll into the next.  Sometimes I wish for calm, but I know that soon enough I will be out stirring up the pot again.  I find the easiest way to feel alive is to keep surprising myself.  So, in the end, I will keep looking forward to everything ahead of me as much as I was looking forward to Madonna.

It seems like the whole world is stressing out right now, but my tip is to always remember the mystery that is life.  ALL life.  It is a blessing to experience this realm and all the drama that comes with it.  I personally believe that there is always more going on than meets the eye.  This helps me stay centered in my joy, and not get caught up in the madness of the media, government and economics.  If the ship is sinking, I will be dancing and sipping champagne!  Joy and happiness are infectious, and we should all do our part to spread it around.

I am off to vacation in Tulum Mexico.  I love it there.  The peace, the ocean, the snorkeling, the food, the stars and the Mayan ruins will provide everything I need for the next couple weeks.  Stay happy and share whatever you’ve got!  It all comes back to you.
